Background Music

Whatever is wrong with these video editors, or is it just me. I find it impossible sometimes to watch what are probably excellent progammes due to the ridiculously high volumes of background 'noise' that drows-out everything.
So far all the Seven Wonders of the Industrial World have been unwatchable.
