All this guy is bothered about is putting a seal of authenticity on the Torah. He's a political officer for Israel, not an archaeologist.

I can't believe theres another series of this absolute tosh. Last night he actually broke in to a locked archaeological site because the REAL archaeologists wisely refused to talk to him. I was also interested to see that the less than complimentary comments made previously on this board by myself and others have been deleted. Hmmmm, so much for discussion.

There are plenty of interesting, well researched real archaeological projects out there, why not show them?

Hi, I really enjoy your program, and tonight you were on a search for foods and food sources. I would like to have the recipe for the Love Cakes made from Lentils. It would be fun to try it out. Thank you, Riverrunner389 Smile

Dear Sirs
Your Naked Archaeologist at 7.30 tonight said there is only one mention of Jesus outside the Gospels that is Josephus, he is wrong he must do his home work, there are at least four records that state there was a Jesus or Christus from Palestine, they are Tacitus AD112 Roman historian, Suetonius official historian of Rome AD 125, Pliny the younger AD 112, and Lucian of Samisata (lived a century after Christ) there are possibly more. Is this helpful? I envy his job I would like to do it.

This is a fantastic programme, which covers all kinds of historical events described in the Bible, and gives various viewpoints on the topics, and comes to conclusions that are largely in line with the Bible, often dismissing some of the more ridiculous ideas or anything that does not match the Biblical account. A must for archaeologists, Bible students, Christians and Jews.
The presenter does a very good job of presenting serious topics in a light-hearted and entertaining way, without making things seem trivial or frivolous. The balance is just right. And there is often the usage of archive public domain type material to help illustrate certain points, and the programme is always fast moving and never boring.
