I shouldn't moan really because Yesterday are repeating Poldark so quickly after the first re-run...

I take it back.

It's just that when I got my DVDs from E Bay I watched the whole 1st series in a day,and enjoyed it so much more without the breaks..
Each episode lasts an hour right?
4 lots of adverts at 2 mins each,means we are losing 8 minutes per episode.
Poldark wasn't designed to have breaks....

But thank you Yesterday for re-running the re-runs.

Is it possible to get rid of the adverts,as these seriously detract my (and I suspect a few others')
enjoyment of this fine dramatisation....

I have recently bought series 1 and 2 on DVD and was surprised at what I had missed watching it on UK TV History,(now Yesterday).The commercial breaks are truly awful...

I recently found The Jewel in the Crown on the ITV website.
Click on 'classic TV' and you will find 13 wonderful episodes on there...

It's a shame it is such a good channel to watch,because for 2 pins I would not watch it as I feel that their treatment of us ,their viewers is utterly insulting.

They should look after us!!

I had a reply saying they will re-run Poldark later this year.
I think it stinks that they are showing no responsibility for pulling the plug on those last few episodes.
I also go on the Winston Graham/Poldark website,and a few there are saying the same thing...

I watched all the Poldark episodes.
I didn't get UKTV History in the evenings,I don't know whether that makes any difference...It must have been SO annoying for you.

I wrote to Yesterday and asked for a re-run of Poldark.
I used the 'contact us' button at the bottom of the page.I haven't received a reply yet.

Lets just hope it is just a few teething troubles eh.
Although I do think the admim should at least say something on the front page to console us...

It does seem a bit shambolic,but I'm sure its just a few teething troubles,but it must have wound you up not having all the Polark episodes...
