The House of Eliott

Have you not read Annia's post of 8 March?
The sets were destroyed in a fire.
Maybe someone did pull the wrong plug and the results were catastrophic.
Read the earlier posts and all will be revealed;

Dear Yvonne and Mags,
If you go back to a posting by Annia9348 on Sunday 8 March you will read the horrible truth.
Why Yesterday never considered that their audience deserved 15 seconds of explanation of the abrupt ending to the series only they can say.

I must admit that I was beginning to wonder if there was any connection between what we, the viewers, were posting and the management of YESTERDAY. But yes, there is.
It is very satisfying to know, or perhaps to believe, that we have obtained a U-turn.
Even if the end of the series will never be seen at least we now know that we shall have to use our imaginations to finish the story. Smile

We do seem still to be communicating our displeasure to each other without any response from those who, supposedly have the power.
Have I missed something or is there still no reaction by the Yesterday management, I use the term loosely, to our concerns.
It would be reasonable to expect that we be informed if there is an intention to do anything to respond.
Reasonable answers could be:
"No we have made our mind(s) there will be no resumption of the series."
"Yes, we understand your concerns we are considering our future programming and will shortly advise you of our intentions."
"We couldn't give a Blurgh about your preferences we will go our own sweet way."

Silence is both impolite and exhibits a lack of concern which bodes ill for the future.
Where are our interlocutors?

Is any body from the past programming management present in this discussion or have all our concerns about yesterday faded away. Mad

There are two more postings on the same subject under "House of Eliot" (without the 'The')
I am at a loss to understand how it is possible to pull a series before it is finished.

We too have been following the House of Eliot with great pleasure. Sunday aftenoon has been occupied very pleasantly.
Suddenly, without explanation the series stops.
I try to check on the link provided and am told that the series will begin on the 1st February - this year - what is going on?
At least it should be possible for one or two words of explanation to be broadcast.
Where do we obtain information?
And why do the managers of this channel treat their viewers in such a shabby manner?
