Guess the answer to that is going to be "no". To be fair to them, they have to get their money somehow ... BBC's ad free due to the licence fee; other channels have to make money someway.

I see it has come back - seems to be on at 10am & 3pm (possibly later too, but I@ve only got Freeview) & they're repeating it the next day ... so, each episode is on 4 times.
Seems to be near the end of series 1 at the moment, and series 3 will be starting on Friday 8th May, with the repeats on Sat 9th. (Then episode 2 on the Monday/Tuesday of the following week) The last one I can find is episode 6, on May 16th. Hopefully that's just because Yesterday don't have details more than a month ahead, rather than they're going to stop just before the end!

is uk history now the drama channel
I have to say I quite like the dramas - but that was only because I got sick of all the endless views of WW2 - there are only so many things you can watch about Nazis.
I liked the start of Chris' list of what could be shown - though towards the end there were too many war things for me.
Perhaps they need another channel - one for documentaries & one for historical based drama - as things like House of Eliott aren't on other channels. That would free up time on History Channel for both the documentaries that Chris listed, as well as things that are more direclty seen as Historical (e.g. Antiques Roadshow) that some like & some don't.

I hope this isn't going to be off air for too long! Have been loving it.
