Quality drama only, well researched and accurate

I disagree with the knockers of drama on what is now doubtfully called Yesterday, but only if they are quality, accurate, hopefully moving dramas. I mean Catherine Cookson! What next, old series of Coronation ST. I still make the plea for Testament of Youth, and agreed with another poster who suggested Wish Me luck. If you are repeating things, why not go for the 1900's House too, seeing as Yesterday is supposedly broadening things.

Please televise the classic 'Testament of Youth.'

Yes indeed - that would be a good one too. More meaningful drama please uktv.

More drama - Testament of Youth

Testament of Youth will give you more idea of the real human cost of the Great War than any documentary, all the more pignant as it is true and scarred the authors life until she died.

More support please for riveting dramas such as Tenko, which wonuniversal praise for UK TV History from mainstream journalists.

Congratulations for putting on 'Tenko' and 'The Secret Army'. Fantastic! However there is a another series I would like to campaign for.

Testament of Youth for those who don't remember, was the BBC's adaptation of Vera Brittains book, in which her lover, Brother and two greatest friends died in the Great War. She herself served as A VAD and served at Etaples military hospital in France.

I would give anything to see this series again, and I think it would pull in large audiences as it is so well known ie as in 'Tenko', particularly with the growing interest in the Great War. I have been to Vera's fiancee's grave in FRance, and it was very moving.

I urge UKTV History to take this idea on board.
