The last episode shown was actually stated as such but it left me wanting more.
This was the last episode of 26:
'Escape'
After his farm has been repeatedly plundered by Germans, who killed his dog,Walter Nicolle confronts and kills the latest intruder but is caught trying to bury the body. Peter, desperate to escape from Guernsey, agrees to leave a letter admitting to the killing in exchange for the use of Walter's boat but his escape is not as he had imagined.
And there was no more!

Both this and Antiques Roadshow are broadcast extensively on elsewhere.
We need less, not more please and stick to the war stuff which makes Yesterday the top channel!

Brilliant, but what about the silly timing we've had for this???

"Because of the silly timing I was setting my alarm clock to watch it 'cos it's that good.
Come on Gold. Let's have it all, in order and at a decent time, say early afternoon repeated late PM. "

I don't believe that Bread has gone again. Because of the silly timing I was setting my alarm clock to watch it 'cos it's that good.
Come on Gold. Let's have it all, in order and at a decent time, say early afternoon repeated late PM.

"One ought, every day at least, to hear a little song, read a good poem, see a fine picture, and, if it were possible, to speak a few reasonable words."
