Chris Hollins, an English television presenter and former sportsman, was born on 20th March 1971. He is known for presenting a range of different programmes and for appearing on Strictly Come Dancing.

  • Chris Hollins played professional football for Charlton, Queens Park Rangers, and Aldershot Town.
  • Chris also played first-class cricket for Oxford University, after attending Durham University.
  • Chris' media career started at the London-based station Channel One TV before moving to Sky Sports, GMTV, Meridian and eventually Five.
  • Chris' career really started to get traction after he joined BBC News in 1999, subsequently moving on to Grandstand and Football Focus.
  • The sport work, led to Chris reporting from the 2002 and 2010 World Cup.
  • in 2009, Chris won the reality series Strictly Come Dancing alongside dance partner Ola Jordan.
  • For one week in 2010, Chris co-presented The One Show with Louise Minchin.
  • Chris has also presented Watchdog and Cash in the Attic.
  • In 2011 Chris presented the first series of the genealogy programme Find My Past.
  • This was followed by the second series of Find My Past which is due to air on Yesterday in late 2012.
