Kennedy Assassination
On the 22nd November 1963, US President John F. Kennedy was assassinated while riding in an open car motorcade with his wife Jacqueline Kennedy and secret agents in Dallas, Texas. He was fatally wounded by gunshot wounds from the head and was dead before he reached hospital.
Lee Harvey Oswald was found guilty of the assassination by three government investigations, but numerous conspiracy theories abound. Many believe that more than 3 shots were fired, meaning more than one gunman; others say Oswald, who was killed by Jack Ruby two days after the assassination, was an imposter; others blame the CIA, the KGB and Cuban exile groups. Kennedy was the youngest man to be elected US president and the youngest to die in office.
