    70 years old today, food rationing entered the lives of people in the UK. It lasted not just until the end of the war - but until 1954. While people were hungry during wartime - no-one starved. Diets were generally healthy than they are today and obesity was practically unheard of. And from watching old films - people were really slim. With this in mind, - I thought it seemed like a good idea to live for one month on the food our 1940's cousins would have eaten. Would I lose weight? What kind of things would I actually have to eat?
