Why are Watch missing episodes of The Bill out. They are also doing it on storylines where the spread over 2 or 3 episodes instead of standalone episodes. Anyone know why??

I was really looking forward to seeing the second part of Assault on Sun Hill, where was it?
Does anyone know where I might be able to watch it?, definately not on Watch!
If you could not show the second part becouse of the watershed, why show the first?.
Why can't you leave The Bill alone? Angry

I hate the way The Bill gets messed about. If there is a watershed issued, why cant UKTV show is after 9.00pm or in the middle of the night. Maybe people that are going to complain should not watch it.

Has anyone got Assult on Sunhill - Part 2 on Video or DVD ?? Smile

I was looking forward to seeing the second part of Friday's episode, as I don't remember seeing it the same time around. Shame it's not going to be shown!

They've only done it again. Really enjoyed the episode on Friday which was the 1st of a 2 parter and they have skipped the 2nd one. Why not miss them both out or show the other episode on an evening after the watershed!!

ive noticed and am well fed up. 2 years ago i missed the episode where lewis makes his epic exit and was looking foward for weeks to see it again, and they missed the whole week out, 5 xxxx episodes. i just cant get over how annoyed i am. i e-mailed support and this is the response i got:

We are sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the scheduling of The Bill.

We schedule episodes in order, but sometimes an episode is judged to be unsuitable for pre-watershed transmission by our compliance checkers.

If we are showing the programme before the watershed, we may have to skip certain episodes, to prevent risking an Ofcom fine if viewers complained.

There may be an issue with showing certain episodes if they conflict with similar shows on other channels or if we are unabale to obtain the rights to that episode. We are also sensitive to current affairs and an episode may be replaced at late notice due to the topics it covers.

Where possible we show all the episodes in the right order, except that some episodes may have to be missed out. Whilst we realise this can affect the flow of the story, we do our best to maintain running order.

We have to abide by the standards required by Ofcom and our responsibility as a broadcaster.

Hope this helps.
