Blurgh I have interrupted my evening to find out how to turn off the voice over for blind viewers. It's a great idea but very distracting to those of us who don't need it. Is there on off button? PatriciaB12959

I was also looking forward to Messiah and my enjoyment was spoiled by the voice over. I have emailed Watch to find out if we can switch this function off!

I'm having the same problem. It is very annoying. I understand it is probably a very helpful service to some people, however, it should be a service that has to be selected rather than a service to be deselected. However - it seems it can't be switched off, so I am switching over to a channel that isn't going to annoy me.

I've just spent a half hour trying to work out how to turn of the voice-overs. I thought I'd hit something on the digi-remote!!
This has to be a broadcasting error its on all channels in the franchise someone has hit the voice-over button by mistake surely!?! If not, why haven't viewers been advised of this irritating distraction. My SkyTV subscription is looking like its heading for the bin if this keeps up

It's not just Watch. I noticed it during Red Dwarf on Channel Dave. On the channels, Dave, Watch, G.O.L.D. and Alibi, the AD option is unavailable at the moment and yet we are forced to hear it (ggrrrrr!) It's not happening on Dave at the moment but then again it's a game show being shown (Have I got News for You)

Something is telling me that this could be just a fault that will be fixed soon because this seems to be the first post on this message board compalining about this as well on other UKTV message boards.

I quite agree. It is very distracting and starting to get on my nerves. Does ANYONE know how to turn it off?
