Tarrant Lets The Kids Loose is an eight-part series that gives three to six-year-olds the green light to fulfil their greatest ambitions in the adult world – whether it be running a photographic studio, a radio station or an ice cream van – as hidden cameras record their reactions to these amazing set-ups.

Each child’s task is created with the parents, and all the scenarios are guaranteed to give the children a taste of independence and an opportunity to achieve things they never knew they could.

With the innocence of youth, each child’s response to their position of authority is refreshing, completely unpredictable and charming. It’s only when the children sit in the live studio audience with their families that they realise that their surreal, fantastical day was actually part of the show.

When all is revealed it’s time for Chris, who made his name on legendary kids TV show Tiswas, to step in and share the children’s experience with the rest of the studio and home audience. They say never work with kids or animals, but Tarrant Lets The Kids Loose proves that children are funny, magical and always surprising.
