Robin Hood

Robin Hood Series 2: Starts Friday 11th September

Brand new to Watch this month is series two of Robin Hood – the 21st century re-working of the classic, medieval swashbuckling tale that pits our hero outlaw against the dastardly Sheriff of Nottingham.

Starring Jonas Armstrong as Robin, Richard Armitage as his nemesis Guy of Gisborne and Keith Allen as the deliciously evil Sheriff of Nottingham, series two sees the ultimate cause (keeping the country free and civilized while Richard III is away) start to unravel.

With the Crusades still raging in the Holy Lands, Robin and his merry men are still doing their bit to stop the Sheriff wreaking his tyranny on the people of Nottingham. But they have their work cut out – the Sheriff is developing new and devastating weapons to press home his advantage.

When secret messages from King Richard are sent to Robin, it’s a race against time to smuggle the weapons and provisions he desperately needs. Robin isn’t helped by the fact there’s a traitor in his ranks.

This tit-for-tat race to get to the King leads to a tragic finale, one that Robin and his true love Marian will never forget.
