Johnny Depp, Kate Winslet and Julie Christie lead an all-star cast in this magical family drama.

Depp plays celebrated fantasy writer JM Barrie, whose latest play, Little Mary, has been savaged by the critics. Barrie meets widowed Sylvia and her four young sons while contemplating his next move in Kensington Gardens.

A strong, platonic relationship with Sylvia is formed, and her sons help Barrie to re-ignite his imagination. Together they become playmates, taking part in ever-more elaborate games and scenarios.
