Renowned chef Gary Rhodes and two hand-picked apprentices take a culinary and cultural journey across China. In each episode, Gary discovers a different regional style of cooking, from the clean flavours of Cantonese through to spicy Sichuan cuisine.
He and his team of sous chefs explore the sights, sounds, smells and colours of China - markets, local growers and producers. Through the ingredients, produce and people of the region Gary uncovers the culinary identity of this truly remarkable country.
