Hiya Nathaniel's mum here (the little boy who ran the garden centre).

I just have to say how wionderful EEVERYONE was from beginning to end, even in the TV studio. No one could have done more, everyone went that extra mile for my son. They were especially sensitive to his needs and double checked every step of the way with me, his school and autism specialists.

I am still very proud of my son and what he achieved. Unless you know an autistic child, you have no idea what a mountain those "Simple" tasks were. And he genunely single handedly ran that centre and did his tasks.

So BIG thank you to everyone in the show.
oh and a big apology for anyone who had any bad experiences with Nathaniel in the studio. We all tried our best to keep him settled and calm. Thanks for understanding. Sorry I couldnt socialise much after the show, I had to calm him a bit, so I got a bit preoccupied, it wasn't intentional.
Nathaniel's Mum.

PS Nathaniel was really impressed with Suni and has been trying to so somersaults ever since LOL!

hi amy! after watching the adverts i couldnt wait 2 c your boys episode, and it didnt dissapoint he was brilliant! all the kids have been I think, my sons gonna b on episode seven running an information desk at butlins. As i can tell, the majority of ppl on this discussion/comments board are either parents or relatives of those kids involved in the show, so Graham, if u dont like the show, dont watch it! Dont come on here practically insulting us. We're all extremely proud of our littluns and quite rightly so I think! the only thing i can possibly think you might find "excrutiating" viewing is the fact that quite a few of the kids (mine included) do go a bit quiet when talking to chris, but this is just the sudden suprise of it all, wondering how we can all see what they were doing and suddenly having a lot of attention all focused at them, Id be rather shell shocked too! But this is the whole point of the show, seeing how/what kids do when they think no ones really watching. And Chris and the whole team were so great with the kids on and off screen they were soon at ease again and having a fantastic time. Its a great fun show for all the family to watch in my opinion, and i respect yours, just think it was placed in the wrong place seeing as like i said pretty much every one on this comments board is a very proud parent/relative of those involved xx Tongue Big Grin

It seems that everyone involved in the show had a great time. I have watched 1 episode and found it excrutiatingly embarrasing and dreadful television. Why do we have to put up with the same trail in every advert break?

My son was the guard on the steam train at Tenterden, what a great time he had, and he loved the filming in the studio. He keeps telling everyone he is going to be a superstar! Can't wait til it's on... only thing is he forgot to get Chris's autograph, anyone know an address he can write to to ask for a signed pic?
Thanks to all the crew and everyone involved for our fab time x

Hi Amy
The kids did start off in the audience, I'm presuming it will be the same for every programme. Not sure how many were filmed on the day as we were backstage for most of it but all the kids were on stage at the end of the programme but parents wern't with them. Hope that helps.

Hi Amy
We attended the filming of the 3rd show and we were only given 24hours notice. Everyone was really friendly and Chris Tarrant is brilliant with the kids. You and your son will have a fantastic day, enjoy it and make the most of it.

we also attended the filming on sat 25th,what a great atmosphere and the crew were fantastic.we were there to support the two boys jaden & mason (shopping trip for mums clothes)Chris is a genuine guy who adores the kids and made their day even more special.Even in the green room after filming chris was chatty and posed for photos. We would love to attend another days filming in the future if we are lucky.Hats off to the comedian for keeping us all entertained. Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin even though he took our friends last paracetamol lol
