UKTV Guide
Guide information
Our Guide does only what it says on the label: it delivers messages to you from UKTV. No hidden trackers, counters, cookies or any of the "spyware" you find in other products. It doesn't need to use those tricks as all we want it to do is tell you about our great TV programmes - the reason you wanted it in the first place!
It doesn't have to interrupt you
If you don't want to receive messages on a day you're particularly busy, simply select the 'Be Quiet' option by right clicking on the Guide icon at the bottom right of your screen.
Anonymity
Your use of the Guide is completely anonymous. We don't track you down, send you anything or sell your info on to other companies. After all, we don't know who you are.
Security
The messages delivered using our Guide are digitally signed and can only come from UKTV. The messages we send you are a lot more secure than using email.
Questions and data
The group you select at the beginning of the Guide is stored on your computer and is only used as a filter to make sure you get recommendations that will suit your viewing.
Files and size
Our Guide runs in its own self-contained folder inside Program Files. No files are hidden or "planted" around the computer. The size taken by the software is between 1Mb and 2Mb. If you receive videos or other large files, they will be stored in the "cache" folder inside the installation folder for you to review, delete or keep.
Uninstall
Easy uninstall procedures guarantee you can get rid of our Guide very quickly, without leaving anything behind. Just right click on the Guide icon at the bottom right of your screen and choose uninstall from the Extras menu option.

series & episode numbers:
any chance of showing series & episode numbers via web site TV Guide? such as All Creatures great & Small. In the Radio Times the information is
