Dot-To-Dot

Dot-To-Dot

We've spotted a cute new trend in the latest home collections: the latest retro interiors now come with cheeky polka dots!

This Forties-style detail is gracing everything from furniture to fabrics and they're just the job for adding a touch of cutesy cheek to any interior.

More suited to vintage-style room schemes, this pre-war pattern is synonymous with nostalgic home-maker, chocolate-box charm. Use them in the kitchen with retro enamelware, painted wooden furniture, Cornishware-style stripes, linoleum in muted pastels and cafe curtains. Add a touch of fun to an all-white bathroom by mixing plain dye towels with polka dot ceramics. Or give your living room a good old fashioned makeover by combining ditsy Rose print fabrics with polka dots in baby blue, powder pink or custard yellow. Got it yet?
