A Life Coach Less Ordinary
Low Self-Esteem

Low Self-Esteem

To the outsider marketing manager Emma Shannon's low self-esteem seems incomprehensible. She's attractive and very vivacious. She's confident, has a successful career and a happy home life. But inside, it's a whole different story.

Emma's problem stems back to her childhood. As a teenager she suffered from gross obesity - at only five foot, three inches she weighed 17 stone. After years of battling with her weight she managed to slim down to under ten stone. She's been this weight for a great many years but she still sees a fat girl in the mirror and is convinced everyone is looking and pointing at her.

When she walks into a bar she thinks people are glancing in her direction and laughing. She feels paranoid and she thinks everyone's better than her. She sees girls fatter than her wearing crop tops and wishes she had the confidence to wear similar clothes. When she goes out, Emma tends to wear jeans and tops and if she wears dresses and skirts they're always below the knee.

This is a confidence makeover waiting to happen. Emma is ready to put these bad thoughts about herself in the past, especially as she's about to get married next year. Her fiancé Ken is a 'wonderful man' but she still has a niggling doubt that she's not good enough for him.

Ken tells her she's pretty and slim all the time but Emma needs Nik and Eva Speakman to help her believe that it's true.
