Here's Looking At You
Here's Looking At You - Episode 12 - Annette
Annette, 39, is an attractive woman who looks like a plain Jane. Passers-by thought she worked on a market stall and was an inactive couch potato with low self-esteem. The fact is, Annette is extremely active. She has four children and seven horses and more animals than she can count. Unfortunately, she never has any time to spend on herself and so doesn't think about her appearance. She is rarely out of an anorak and wellies. Annette also walks with tiny steps and her head down.
Jeremy's tips
Walking with tiny steps and holding your head down is a sure sign of low self-esteem. Look like you own the space you are walking in. Take longer strides than usual and imagine a string coming out of the top of your head, pulling your head upwards - then hold your head up. Imagine you are a proud Spanish horse! It will feel silly at first but once you try it, you will start to feel more relaxed and confident!
Celia's tips
· Bias-cut dresses work if they have wide floaty skirts, otherwise they can drown people and emphasise bulges.
· Ladies with large hips and bosoms look good in plain dresses with small details, such as flowers or appliqué, at the neck and the hems. This draws attention away from parts of the body which don't want to be noticed.
· Plain colours, such as black or chocolate, can be brought to life with a brilliant scarf in fuschia or lime green.
· Jackets with low breast pockets are extremely unflattering because they make one's bust look low-slung.
· If a new pair of shoes are slippery to walk in, take a knife and score the sole of the shoe. This gives them more grip.

Tip: For a natural look, don't stray too far from your natural hair colour - a few natural highlights will give you a lift. If you want longer hair, cutting it around the face to frame it can make you look much younger.
Make-Up

· If you are outdoors a lot, you must use moisturise with a sun filter to protect the skin. Exfoliate before using a moisturiser on you face as it will make the moisturiser more effective.
· Putting blusher on the apples of your cheeks gives a very natural, rosy-cheeked look. You can find the apples by grinning at yourself in the mirror.
· If you can't be bothered to wear make-up, have your eyelashes tinted and just wear moisturiser and lip gloss. You will look much better than going completely bare faced.
