Happily, Olivia is now cured. She came through the cancer treatment with the unconditional love and support of friends and family, and a well-intentioned but deeply unstylish mural bearing the words '..live, love and laugh... be strong, be you... breathe'.

The home has potential, but there's no space for the family to be together and there are style no-nos at every turn, including polystyrene ceiling tiles throughout. The team set about extending the home by adding 500ft² but in no time Constance and Preston are at each others' throats. Highly-strung Connie can't bear Preston's 'organic and dynamic' approach to planning and insists he commit his ideas to paper. He point-blank refuses and refers to her as 'Condescenstance' for the duration of the show. Brilliant.

Paul escapes the tension by stripping off for a midnight skinny-dip in a neighbour's pool. Sadly Ty doesn't join him... Meanwhile, in Olivia's bedroom work gets underway on a giant doll's house covering one wall and a fab grass carpet: girly heaven. The garage and battered old family truck transform into a 'drive-in' home theatre, and yes, sadly it's as bad as it sounds. Outside an impressive pirate ship with enormous hull is erected in the garden, bound to be the envy of every playground-goer.

The Powers return from their first-ever family vacation in the Bahamas and are genuinely delighted with their new home. Rodney's smile slips as he surveys his butchered truck, but it quickly returns when Ty hands him the keys to a gleaming SUV...
