Wardrobe Storage
Clutter is never a good look. Especially amongst a neutral colour scheme. Tuck your shoes away neatly and hide all those belts and socks with one of these designer storage systems.
Hi Donna,
We've just built a new house, it lacks character at the minute. Everything is done in neutral colours. Anyway, we have a 6ft by 6ft walk-in wardrobe but no shelves or rails yet. How can I shelf and rail it with maximum use of storage.

Hi Sonia C,
Instead of haphazardly installing a few shelves and rails, invest in a streamlined, fitted wardrobe system that keeps clutter to a minimum, mess out of sight, and clothes, shoes and accessories in an orderly fashion.
Pay a visit to Ikea and check out the wide range of fitted options to suit every style of interior. As your home is neutral and you may not yet have decided which colours to decorate with, keep the wardrobe fronts neutral too so they'll go with any change of colourscheme you may have.
Their Pax range comes in Oslo - a white finish frame with doors in white lacquer and tempered glass; Lomen - a white finish frame with doors and drawers in a high gloss white finish; Nexus - a birch finish frame with doors in clear lacquered birch veneer; Nexus Vikedal - yellow-white finish with doors and drawers in clear lacquered oak veneer and one mirror door; Brevik - white finish frame with white door and drawers; and Nexus Drammen - beech finish frame with doors and drawers in clear lacquered beech veneer, one door in frosted tempered glass with aluminium frame.
Keep the interior ship shape with a wide range of storage solutions in the Komplement range. Choose from wire baskets, wire shelves, birch shelves, plastic boxes that slide out on guide rails, clothes rails, a trouser hanger, drawers, pull-out shelves, shelf dividers for belts, socks and accessories, shoe racks, laundry bags, laundry bins, and even a workstation that lets you use some of the space as a compact office area.
Enjoy your new home,
Donna.
