Children's Wall Stickers
Wall stickers are big news in childrens' interiors right now will and are an inexpensive way of introducing a funky new design into a child's bedroom or playroom. They're versatile too - you can reposition them and reuse them to suit your child's ever-changing tastes!
Dear Debbie,
Do you know where I could buy full length scenic door stickers - similar to the ones that you can buy for fridge freezers (eg. dolphins, palm trees on beach)? I am decorating my daughter's bedroom and thought it would be nice to have such a thing on the back of her door.
Thanks!

Hello,
Wall stickers are a great way of brightening up a child's room. Less hassle than painting a mural and they have the added advantage that they are often re-usable and can be moved and changed with the child's tastes.
Readyroll make a huge range of 'child friendly' wall stickers including long 'banners', which you could attach to the back of a door. Themes include flowers and space and packs cost £12.98. They also do packets of large stickers, called Paint Pals, featuring characters like fairies, hearts or Scooby Doo characters. For younger children there are animal stickers called 'Zootime' with four pictures of an elephant, giraffe, big cat and a zebra, which would look good on a panelled door. You'll find these at B&Q superstores.
Vymura and Coloroll also produce wall stickers. Vymura make a Barbie-inspired set with four wall panels in two designs. Coloroll's feature images of space or fairies. Again, visit B&Q for more details.
Alternatively, you might be tempted by the idea of decorating the whole room. If so, take a look at Fun To See. They sell packs of giant stickers in three designs (undersea world pictured above, funky flowers and outer space), which allow you to create your own fantastic themed room. A new design, Jungle Safari, is being introduced in February. One pack contains up to 96 individual designs which are easy to apply, re-usable and cost £49.99. If this is a bit over the top you could buy one of their wall height charts instead which are designed to tie in with their room stickers. Choose between a giant seahorse, a pink caterpillar or a rocket. They come in three pre-cut sections, measure up to 150cm (58in) and cost £12.99. Buy online or call (01892) 864153.
Best wishes,
Debbie
