Did you have any major disasters while filming?
"I know Lewis had a couple of leaks! A few disagreements, for example, we did a bathroom for a couple that insisted that they wanted to remove the bath and just leave a shower room. I explained to them that that is not a good way of adding value - you need to give buyers the option of a bath or shower. It wasn't a disaster, just a disagreement - it was their bathroom at the end of the day and they decided to pull the bath out against our advice."

Did you learn anything new while filming the show?
"Yes, I did - from Lewis, the lovely builder. The last project we did was a loft conversion. My top tip always is to paint walls cream. Lewis suggested that we only plaster three of the walls and leave one of the walls of the loft exposed, so you saw the brick. That's my new top tip for loft conversions - leave one wall exposed. It looked beautiful. It gave a real feel of a Manhattan-style loft."
