As well as presenting various segments on GMTV including co-hosting the programme with Eamonn Holmes and standing in for Lorraine Kelly, Andrea has presented programmes as diverse as I-Do, a programme about the country's first interactive wedding, to Great Escapes. Her other credits include Challenge TV, Carlton Food Network, Channel 5, The Weather Channel, Talk Radio (weather reports) and London Sounds (arts reviews).

A trained journalist, Andrea began her career as a travel writer in 1993 after backpacking around the world. In 1994 she became a staff writer for Central Press Features, covering TV, film, theatre and book reviews. Paying the bills wasn't always so glamorous though - she has also worked as a grill chef, barmaid, shop assistant, receptionist and factory worker!

Andrea was born in Glasgow, raised in Trinidad and Tobago and now lives in London with her husband and 18 month-old son. She is quite a fitness fanatic - last year she took part in the Playtex Moonwalk Marathon to raise money in the fight against breast cancer. She also enjoys cinema, pilates and power walking.
