Charlie tells us 'I've had some shocking streaks on my ankles in the past but I'm happy to say that my legs are now patch-free and evenly tanned – happy days! This is essentially an aerosol self-tan which dries super-quickly and needs no rubbing in. I love the colour – not too orangey, just really healthy looking. Six of the Best Self Tanners
The Tan Commandments go something like this…1. Defoliate, exfoliate and moisturise.
2. Don latex gloves (10p per pair from your local pharmacy)
3. Stay sober.
4. Apply self tan evenly and carefully, with minimal coverage on joints.
5. Buff with a mitt or dark towel.
6. Go for the ‘double dip’ by repeating steps 2-6.
7. Display your flawless tan in something short and sassy.
