The floor-skimming maxi is all set to be the statement shape of summer. Now you're forgiven for that quizzical eyebrow, but before you dismiss it as fad/tricky/impractical, ask yourself this question: how many other dresses do you own that can take you to a wedding, a festival or the weekly Sainsbury's shop?
