Six of the Best White Shirts
This week, we're going back to basics with that wardrobe essential: The Classic White Shirt. To steer the buying process, here's a handy checklist.White shirts shall be:
· Crisp (starch? hell yes!)
· Whiter than white (Ecover won't cut it - think bleaching agent)
· *Immaculately* ironed
· Replaced annually (greying cuffs? no indeed).
Wear with statement denims for a look that's perennially stylish; follow Mrs Beckham's lead and team with pencil skirt and leather waspie; get sexy in the city with a razor sharp trouser suit or add smart shorts for quintessential spring chic. If you're feeling brave wear with pants à la Sienna (but we really wouldn't recommend it).
