The Look
"There's a definite Fifties vibe going on in my wardrobe. I love the tailoring and structure – I've got quite a small waist so the style suits me. Today I'm wearing a black shirt, black pencil skirt, red tank with red shoes. Quite often I'll wear one of my Fifties dresses with a matching ribbon in my hair. I've got loads of dresses, the great thing about them is that I don't have to worry about coordinating plus they make me feel like a lady!"

Forget the catwalk. Nowhere does fashion turn more heads and cause more of a stir than on the street. We've recently been accosting gorgeous people and finding out more about their look.Rachael works at Starfish in Brighton's North Laines, mecca to hip retro clothing and saucer-sized shades. "I'm absolutely not a high street girl. My wardrobe is exclusively vintage so this is my ultimate working environment! Most of my clothes come from here, but I love rummaging through the Sunday car boot sale at Brighton Station."
