It was the number one medical show on television last year and has continued to dominate in 2008, consistently attracting an average of over 1.2 million viewers. Currently filming a fifth series, series producer Maxine Gray says about the show: “The medical staff at The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne and Ambulance Victoria air and road paramedics are literally heroes to our patients - and they’re our heroes as well. It’s an absolute privilege to showcase their work for our audience,” says Maxine.
