This fabulously voyeuristic series charts the challenges facing couples as they prepare for the biggest day of their lives. Our cameras have unrestricted access to the proposals, the preparations and the priests (who sometimes just happen to be running an hour or so late. Oops).
There's no such thing as an ordinary wedding, or for that matter, a smooth path to the altar. There may be half a million nuptials each year in Britain but that doesn't make them any less special. No matter who's getting married, where they're marrying or how many times they've done it before each wedding is pure theatre from start to finish.
Throughout the series we'll meet some legendary characters. Nightclub designers Carlton and Peter are worried their finances might not stretch to the extravagant gay wedding they've set their hearts set on and when infidelity gets in the way of the big day it’s all hell let loose.
Christine is determined to have the big celebrity-style wedding but if her carpet-fitter fiancée can't find a white carpet for her to walk down it won’t be pretty.
Ever seen a Rocky Horror wedding? Er no, neither had we until we met this charming pair of love birds determined to do the timewalk... their décor even includes a coffin!
