Christmas with Rachel Allen

Hot on the heels after the success of Rachel Allen: Bake! comes the Christmas special, where Rachel will be cooking mouth-watering festive treats. From a gorgeous Christmas cake bursting with dates, apricots and crystallised ginger to a stunning gingerbread house or tasty mince pies, Rachel has got Christmas baking covered.

Along the way, Rachel will be meeting the maestro of Italian food, Gennaro Contaldo, who will be sharing some Italian festive treats such as panettone and also the queen of Christmas cakes, Fiona Cairns, to learn the secrets behind her show stopping designs.

Rachel Allen: Christmas Bake really does have something for everyone. From making the most of Christmas leftovers with delicious St Stephen’s Day Muffins to sumptuous sticky yet simple cinnamon pecan buns to tasty jam cookie sandwiches. You won’t be able to resist these tasty treats!

Rachel Allen is a cook and a mother who cooks simple, practical food perfect for families.
A native of Dublin, Rachel lives in Cork with her husband and two children. Here she teaches at Darina Allen's world-renowned Ballymaloe Cookery School.

Rachel has appeared in three television series: Rachel's Favourite Food, Rachel's Favourite Food For Friends, Rachel's Favourite Food At Home, Rachel’s Food for Living and Rachel Allen Diary. She has also published a book for each of her TV series, carrying the same name.
