Jenni Falconer turns coastal dreams into reality in a brand new series of Fantasy Homes By The Sea

Back by popular demand, Fantasy Homes by the Sea returns this January with a brand new celebrity presenter, Jenni Falconer. Join Jenni as she helps couples longing for a haven by the sea search for dream homes in idyllic locations.
Jenni’s search for seaside sanctuaries takes her both home and abroad in this ten part series and proves that a heavenly home can be yours whether buying on a budget or not. Banish those January credit crunch blues and indulge in the fantasy of waking up to the sound of the surf crashing on the sand.
Jenni says: “In a time when the property market is slumping, it's interesting to see how buyers have more power of negotiation when it comes to price. Looking around some of the amazing houses we filmed, you can find inspiration and ideas for your own home”.
Meet Kevin and his wife Michele, who have been together for four years. Kevin’s children are about to leave home so with space no longer an issue the couple are leaving their detached home for a glamorous lifestyle right on the seafront. Kevin and Michele are looking in Lytham, St Annes, an exclusive area of coast where properties can fetch a cool £2million, but in the current market there is much more room for negotiation and the couple are hoping their budget of £900,000 will stretch far enough to help them find their dream home
Jenni is also on a mission to find a luxury holiday home for busy doctors Oscar and Pratibha in the sunny celebrity haunt of Sardinia. The couple are desperate for a holiday home that will provide much needed rest and relaxation, but with a modest budget of £335,000 can Jenni find their fantasy holiday home in an increasingly popular destination that is just what the doctor ordered?
Sarah and Spike also have coastal aspirations. They’ve lived together in South London for 12 years, but now they want children they’re hankering after the seaside existence of their own childhoods. The couple have fallen for the traditional fishing town of Whitstable on the North Kent coast. The pair have a budget of £300,000, will they find their perfect seaside haven?
Jenni shows the ten couples four fabulous coastal homes and asks them to choose one at the end of the programme. Throughout the series the show looks at homes of all shapes and sizes from Pembrokeshire to Southern Italy. Viewers will get a sumptuous taste of a life by the sea, as well as plenty of tips and advice on relocating to coastal properties. Fantasy Homes by the Sea will show that a dream life by the sea can indeed become a reality.
