Located in a small village, they source their ingredients from their local butcher, nearby berry farm, local pork farm and the village allotments and serve dishes like Local Goats Cheese Souffle with Red Onion Marmalade, and Fillet of Beef with Portabello Mushrooms and Spinach.

A consistently high standard in a relaxed and welcoming ambience. Friendly & efficient waiting staff. Outstanding quality of food obviously prepared with passion & value for money. Although self-styled a gastro pub, it puts most other more pretentious restaurants to shame. It's now the eaterie of choice for me & all my friends. We all hope it thrives, as it deserves, for many years to come.

Fabulous, value for money dining at a friendly, warm and efficient pub. The food (all seven courses) was consistently good, the staff polite, thoughtful and super-efficient and the atmosphere inviting. We'll be going back on a regular basis.

Restaurant/Gastropub in village location. Brilliant food with many dishes using local produce. Relaxed atmosphere equally suited for a cosy meal for two or a full blown family/business event. Also excellent lunchtime and early evening menus. review this place now
