In 1954, Henry John Hodges and his family moved to Harrow and the Fishmonger customers know today became his. Formerly a Bakers, the shop is decorated with panels creatively painted by a fairground painter who was commissioned in the wintertime when he had little work. MJ Hodges & Sons has its own smoke holes so it can treat its customers to smoked fish and traditionally cured salmon, haddock, cod and kippers. Over the years the business has been passed down the family line, growing and expanding. MJ Hodges now also sells fried fish.

A fantastic selection of wet fish and shellfish, fresh and some frozen. They smoke their own haddock, cod, mackerel and salmon - all superb. Friendly and very helpful staff. review this place now
