The area is 'highly Jewish' - to the extent that Tony and Keith close on Saturday and open on Sunday. They sell 'kosher fish' so nothing that doesn't have scales such as monkfish (although if anything is wanted and they have it at Billingsgate they will obtain for you, and deliver if required). What makes it special is their own smokehouse - obviously there is a great call in the area for smoked salmon, but their smoked roe and kippers are to die for. I went there yesterday because the day before when I had asked for smoked roe, was told that it wasn't quite ready yet. It tastes divine. review this place now
