I’m over in Harrogate so it’s not ideal to pick up a hot meal from York on a regular basis. However, when I heard about Marks Meal-Kit option from a couple of mate who live in York I decided to take a look at the i-eat-t.co.uk website to find out more…These days it’s a no-brainier, if I know I’m going to be in or around York I’ll make a quick call the day before and pre-book a meal-kit or 2 (one for the freezer) for pick up on my way back home. I particularly like the Piggy Layonnaise, Jamaican Beef Stew and Plaice of Love dishes. A perfect mid-week treat just when you want something a little bit special but really can’t be bothered to start cooking and preparing from scratch.

Every town should have one of these. A great alternative to the usual takeaways. Tasty food at reasonable prices.

I just love the food! Mark creates delicious meals made with fresh local produce. Forget going to a restaurant and try I-EAT-T, for the best meals in town!

I voted last year and was astounded this place did'nt make the cut. Seriously wholesome tasty gut filling food. You can order before going for a social pint or three and know you don't have to deal with the usual take away chaos! I've had a fork buffet for my mother in laws 90th, i've road tested frozen ready meals and me and the wife can't cook our tea or Sunday lunch for the money Mark charges. Keep it up Mark!

The food here is so good I've just wasted ten minutes of my life waiting for this rubbish website to do it's stuff very slowly...thankfully, the food is worth it! The Sunday dinners repair the soul after a heavy saturday night. And what other take-away in Britain sells roast pheasant stuffed with black pudding and wrapped in bacon? Or sausage and mash with bubble and squeak? I Eat T! It's all the rage!

Whoever said the gravy was great was right!... the food is just sublime. There really should be an I-Eat-T in every town.

I have a takeaway from i-eat at least once a week because the food is always fresh, tastes delicious, great value and has friendly service. I would give i-eat 10 out of 10 for its originality and quality, there is nowhere else like it around.

Have just eaten most delicious supper - I had the lamb chops and my husband had the corned beef hash - sounds ordinary? Well it ain't! Fabulous food with a modern twist. We've had Mark catering for us and recommended him to lots of others. No-one has been disappointed. A little star! Ged Cooper
