I find it to be a very friendly place staff are excellent and the area is of natural beauty a wonderful place for a day out in the country with its quiet secluded walks/outstanding beaches with it's rugged scenery.as i now live in Hornsea after living on the Costa Blanca, Spain for 7 years,my wife and i are at home in the area and now realise there is no place East Yokshire. if you have not yet been to Mr Moos i would highly recommend a visit (the kids would love it )especially the speciality ice-cream which is made daily on the farm you will be spoilt for choice i would suggest trying 'rum and raisin' delicious! or any of the 30 other varieties on offer, we regularly stop in for coffee and they make the best Cappuchino i have ever tasted even better than Spain! the farm also has a touring caravan park which is quiet but ideally situated for the east coast resorts of Scarborough 45mins and Bridlington 20mins. GIVE IT A GO YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED. Satisfied customer.

We've just been to Mr Moos - the children wanted an ice cream and then a walk on the beach. However as we were there a little before 12, we decided to have a little lunch as well. Oh heaven! The children's sandwiches were cut into dainty fingers with lots of fillings - they were so impressed that they ate them all without the customary struggle. I went for the fresh tomato and basil soup, hubby a baguette with smoked wensleydale and onion marmalade. We nearly came to blows over me eating his lunch! It's the little things, tasty side salads ( I had to stop a waitress to ask the EXACT ingredients of the sublime beetroot in a minty yoghurt, a variation of a potato salad.) Really, people initially visit for the ice cream, but the main meals are delicious and well thought out to the tiny details. Then there are the children's toys and games dotted round to keep them happy, huge outdoor picnic tables to seat a hoard, and lastly, a visit to the stars of the show - the cows! (I don't think they were Mr Moos though, looked more like Mrs to me.) Next time we go, I'm going to try the chocolate and raspberry torte instead of ice cream...

Mr Moo's uses the milk from their own dairy cows to make 30+ flavours, many of which are made with local ingredients ie: fruits, flowers & honey. The ice cream is served in cones or fantastique sundaes. Mr Moo's also serves a large range of coffees, teas, home baking & light lunches. All ingredients are sourced locally and like the ice cream made on the premises. The staff are a great all very enthusiastic about the ice creams.
