Fred's as Chapmans is commonly known provides excellant quality meat, the beef 'grown' locally and well hung. The pork and lamb has got that old fashioned taste that nearly all supermarket meat lacks.Fred's sausage rolls are to die for especially when fresh from the oven and his cooked ham is delicious.I own the coffee shop next door and we pride ourselves on producing great home cooked food and without Fred's next door this wouldn't be possible. Lower Heswall is an idyllic old world village and a visit is a must. Also the butcher boys working for him are a hoot, another attraction!!! review this place now
