P & R Cole Family Butchers. P & R Cole was established in Neath in 1928 they are a local family butchers of which their son is now the 4th generation butcher. The meat is all locally sourced and they have won numerous awards for their quality including 19 out of 22 gold awards won at the South Wales evaluations and they also swooped 6 out of the 8 gold awards in the national competition at Birmingham. They employ four full time staff (one of which who has been with them for 55 years) and three part time staff, they also have a cooked meat and hot Baguette outlet in Neath Market which keeps the majority of the people who work in Neath supplied with their daily lunch (their take away roast lunches are very good). Unfortunately, due to supermarket produce local butchers over the last decade have had a real struggle to survive in many parts of Wales. Please consider Coles the Butcher as they deserve to be nominated for this award for its friendly staff and outstanding quality of the produce that they offer.
