Tiverton Pannier Market has undergone something of a renaissance this year. Heal Farm and Farm Fresh Vegetables work together to put on cookery demonstrations and tastings every Saturday. Alistair Strachen sells vegetables and fruit from the famous Victorian walled kitchen garden at Knightshayes Court, a National Trust property. Anne Petch produces recipes and tastings featuring the fresh and unusual vegetables from Knightshayes and often incorporating Heal Farm meat and items from other stall holders. The two businesses are developing a strong following with customers timing their visits to the market to purchase the featured ingredients and cook the dishes at home.
