Kens quality meat is second to none.Mouthwatering sausages,superb lean steaks & the burgers - oh you have to have them in your weekly order.All his produce is loved by my entire family.Kens' individual service makes it a pleasure to shop there as we always have a chat about anything from food, families and even computers.Be prepared for a long queue as he is so popular but it is well worth the wait

We travel from Corbridge to Kens for our meat which is excellent, along with the service and of course the jokes!

Ken is a friendly, hard working traditional butcher who knows his stuff. The meat is excellent; bacon that doesn't shrink in the pan when you cook it, sausages full of meat and flavour with very little fat, beef that melts in the mouth, then this is the place to go.

Excellent service and advice. Top class meat. If you haven't tried a 'Ponteland Duck' (not a duck at all!!) - you don't know what you're missing, especially for family or special occasions.

Ken and his team always make my wife and i very welcome. My wife is from Vietnam and is not used to the different types and cuts off meat on offer in this country, but Ken takes time out of his busy day to spend time with her and help her find exactly what she needs. If the ratings scale went up to 10 Ken and his shop would be an 11!!!

Ken and his team are the best. We travel regularly from the other side of Edinburgh to Ponteland just to buy meat. It is always top quality and well worth the journey. Where else could you buy Grandads special sausages?
