The staff are friendly, although not very knowledgeable. My main gripe however is that what should be some of the best cheeses available are ruined by being precut and wrapped in clingfilm.

get my lunch here every week day and the lovely smells when you walk in ake you want to buy all sorts. The homemade cheese cake is my favourite.

Made on premises, cakes, quiches, chutneys, preserves, cooked meats. All local produce including meat and fresh fish. Wide selection of lunch menus including hot and cold sandwiches, hot home made meals. They also provide outside catering and will even cook your favourite, meals for dinner parties in your own home including wine, crockery and waitress service. Menus can be complemented by the wide selection of local and continental cheeses. Vegetarian, gluton free, sugar free and any other dietary requirements are always taken into consideration, you just need to let the proprietor know your needs. For the special occasion they provide a variety of hampers or you can create your own hamper from the wide selection of delicacies, which can be viewed in the shop. The owner of the shop and the staff are always welcoming and are happy to take the time to discuss your requirements and help you to select ingredients for the perfect menu.
