This is my local pub that I have been going to for years and when it was refurbished I thought they would take away all the character and charm and replace it with another trendy place. However, while it's well refurbished they have extended their food offering and it's fabulous - fresh local produce in everything, they cater for my kids also and it's spacious - we're not sitting on top of each other as in most places. The staff are extremely polite also - refreshing change if albeit it's not my same 'old' local!! review this place now
