I love this place - friendly staff and amazing food! Love the Italian Ice Cream, beef and ale pies and of course the Sunday morning breakfast stotties which are an essential part of my hangover cure. Also offers a wide variety of Italian deli food not to be found anywhere else. The home cooked stuff is so authentic have even on occasion managed to pass it off as my own!

The new owners have taken over from the original italian family who ran the place. They kept the good features of the previous owners: they are extremely friendly and provide fresh bread daily. They also revamped the place and took the old reliable dely to a brand new level. The thing that epitomises the quality of the new outlet for me is the quality and the diversity of their bread.

Absolutely fantastic. Visited my daughter in Jesmond and was glad to see that she is being well fed thanks to the fabulous home cooked meals to takeaway and delicious sandwiches from Daniela's.

I love this place! The awesome sandwiches got me through my exams and I'll really miss calling in when I leave Newcastle for the summer!

I call in at Daniela's every time I'm in the area. The finest Cafeology Fairtrade Coffee and wonderful breakfast Rolls are superb. Daniela's staff are always extremely pleasant and it's definitely a number one for consistency. Always clean, the deli has a great ambiance and lovely food from Italy not to be found anywhere else. It's just a shame Daniela's is so far from home.

Whilst visiting mates, I found this Deli, Daniela's. The place is amazing, even with supermarkets selling the range of produce that they do, they just don't compare to Daniela's, everything from the quality of the products, to the range of foods that they sell, and the friendly service that they provide, this deli is an absolute gem, and really needs to be put forward for this award, it would do it absolute justice!!
