The restaurant is open for lunch, dinner and morning coffee. In a nutshell, the owners, Nick and Sophie, are a delightful young couple who make this restaurant unpretentious and very welcoming. The food is simply fantastic, as Nick is such a wonderful chef. In addition to the restaurant food, Nick makes preserves and lots of other delicious goodies for sale, and will make up hampers of many descriptions - the list is endless. They have recently opened a B&B nearby, called Tudor House. Ashburton itself is a delightful town on the edge of Dartmoor - I strongly recommend you investigate it. review this place now
