Colin and his teams friendly service offer a range of superb quality meats. We no longer buy meat from anywhere else, Colin Robinsons lamb, steak, bacon, sausage and roast ham are quite simply the best we have ever eaten - Thank you Colin and team for your hard work - See you soon, PRMJ

Colin is a true master in his trade selling only the best produce all sourced locally and prepared to the highest of standards. He has been recognised for his efforts by James Martin with whom i have to agree that Colin has some of the best lamb in the country. good on ya Colin and good luck as you are a true Local Food Hero

We have just moved to the area and Colins shop came highly recommended and certainly didnt dissapoint. Fab sausages, brilliant selection and a friendly face to serve you! Local food at its best. We wont go anywhere else

I won't eat sausages from anywhere else; favourites are pork with black pudding, pork with tomato and basil and, not available that often, pork with mango and chilli. And now I've tasted the chicken kievs, I don't buy them anywhere else either. Adding to the excellent selection and excellent quality is the excellent service - as the readout on their scales say: a smile costs nothing.

top class in every way, from the stylish new refurbishment right through to the friendly goodbye as you leave the shop after purchasing some of colins top class meats and meat products. the shop and the friendly staff are always neat and tidy and on my last visit i noticed a new award for good hygiene thiss goes along side numerous others for his sausages and meat products. well done all of you for achieving so much through many absticles that have stood in your way. good luck with this you deserve to do well.

An excellent estabishment, using top quality meats sourced from either local farms or the family farm, ensuring low food miles and full traceability. He has an outstanding range of meats and award winning meat products all prepared on the premises. He has supported the Yorkshire Dales National Parks by being the main supplier of 'Limestone Beef', a result of a conservation scheme, his pastrami is the best i've ever tasted. Good luck Colin, you and your family deserve this award.

A quality butcher offering a range of locally reared meats. His sausages are real winners with many interesting and tasty recipes, including my favourite which incorporates Black Sheep Ale - fantastic. Lovely shop, helpful and courteous staff, managed by a butcher who really knows his business. review this place now
