I visited Turners after several recommendations from friends. I bought 2 large and 2 small pork pies and they were still warm from the oven. Crisp pastry, succulent pork filling and jelly dripping down your chin. These pies are marvellous and well worth the 20 odd mile round trip.

The best pork pies in yorkshire, queues outside all the time, very popular with local workers and builders know their pies!

'Percy's Pies' are the best kept secret in the area. They are locally acknowledged for their excellence. They contain 'real' meat rather than the reconstituted rubbish found in many pies and their flavour is fantastic. Encapsulated in a crust that's just the right thickness and texture. They're too good to pass-off as home made! Percy Turner's Pork Pies genuinely deserve recognition. review this place now
