I recently visited this farm shop after my son moved to Chippenham and now buys all his meat there. There is a huge selection of produce but I wanted to try something different so I bought a rack of goat. I've eaten goat in the past in curries but i cooked this just i would a rack of lamb with a herb crust and served with new potatoes and creamed leeks also purched from the shop. The meat was succulent and tender and it has quite a strong gamey flavour, slightly stronger than venison, but it cooked and tasted excellent. I would recommend trying it.

Quality of meat and veg produce is fantastic. Since I discovered Allington I have never since purchased meat from a supermarket!

A veritable oasis of a farm shop. Super quality produce,top class locally produced meat and poultry. Firendly and helpful staff, great variety of quality products and good value for money. Really fab locally home-made cakes.

Everyone is always very helpful and friendly. The produce is displayed well and the shop has a welcoming environment. Their ice-cream is delicious!!!!!!

Searched far and wide for a good farm shop and found Allington's on our doorstep - superb produce all year and the best turkeys at Christmas. See you there!

Fantastic produce - great range too. Home made sausages and steaks are our favourites. Staff always really friendly and willing to help.

The meat and veg are always very good and their is a wide variety of other products to buy, the staff are very friendly and helpfull

the meat here is always good ,chickens taste like chickens should and the double lamb chops are really special,

The meat (mainly local) has been superb for over 21 years. The rest of the farm produce shop has grown from an old library van to a very large shopping area. Paul Reynolds has been at the forefront of supporting British farming for years, both vocally and via his shop. review this place now 1
